As part of our local group recruitment campaign, we ran a stall at Thornbury on 16th September. This was great way to spend a Saturday morning (especially as the weather was good!) because, not only did we find several potential new members but we were also able to chat to a wide range of people about our Group, our campaigns and environmental issues in general. As the picture shows, ‘duster’ (Lisa’s dog) was an added attraction, proving the old adage of using either kids or animals to promote your cause!
